This year’s recipient, Amber Nicholson, is vice principal at St Brendan K-9 in Edmonton, Alberta.  Having recently completed a Master of Education, Amber exhibits a deep understanding of pedagogy, curriculum and assessment.  Amber is respected as an educational leader in her community whose work reflects an unwavering commitment to students, educators and the long-term strength of public education in Canada.
