  • Advocating nationally – CAP builds formal partnerships with key educational organizations to ensure the voices of principals and assistant/vice-principals are heard in shaping public education.
  • Leading research – CAP engages in research projects that address critical issues in schools and school leadership, contributing to evidence-based practices across the country.
  • Promoting the profession – CAP works to raise the profile and national status of principals and assistant/vice-principals as essential leaders in Canadian public education.
  • Creating networks – CAP connects affiliate members through a strong national network, sharing professional leadership insights and Canadian research via timely, multi-platform communications.
